Brazilian star’s future at Anfield looking in doubt
Barcelona are lining up a £22million for Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window.
Last season’s treble winners will have their transfer embargo lifted in the New Year and, according to reports in Spain, the Samba star is their main priority.
The 23-year-old is currently in his fourth season at Anfield and has scored 17 goals in 111 appearances in all competitions, but does have a showreel of spectacular long-range efforts.
The La Liga giants have made an enquiry about the player in previous seasons but Liverpool refused to open negotiations.
With the recent departure of Brendan Rodgers, Barca believe that can be the catalyst in tempting Coutinho to the Nou Camp and a reunion with former teammate Luis Suarez.
