When is the FA Cup 2017 semi-finals being played?

Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and City will do battle at Wembley

The two FA Cup semi-finals we know will be be Arsenal v Manchester City and Chelsea v Tottenham.

Both semi-finals will be played at Wembley on the weekend of 22 and 23 April.

On Wednesday, Arsenal fans began to leak the information that they will play Manchester City on Saturday April 22, 2017.

Each semi-final will be played on consecutive days on April 22 and April 23rd, a Saturday and Sunday.

As a result, The Blues will face Spurs at Wembley on Sunday April 23, 2017.

It was originally though Chelsea v Spurs would be on the Saturday, since the London Marathon is on the Sunday and would be difficult to arrange due to the fact both clubs are from the capital.

The draw means the final could see a repeat of the famous 1981 encounter between Manchester City and Spurs – sealed in a replay by a spectacular Ricky Villa goal for the Londoners
