Powerhouse midfielder reveals his love for Blues
Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo has revealed his love for Chelsea and his admiration for Jose Mourinho, but he is set to complete a summer switch to Serie A side Inter Milan.
The former Brazil international has made no secrets about his desire to play in England and to play in the Premier League, but after missing out on a move to Arsenal and Chelsea a few years ago, he ended up in Turkey with Gala.
Melo to Inter
However, he’s now set to leave the club and join Roberto Mancini‘s Inter Milan as the Italian looks to bring the glory days back to the San Siro.
According to Italian publication Sport Mediaset, Melo will undergo a medical in Italy over the next 48 hours before finalising the transfer.
The 32-year-old will cost Inter just £2.2million, despite the Turkish side initially wanting £7.1m.
Melo Loves Chelsea
Mancini and Melo will reunite after they worked together at Galatasaray, but that hasn’t stopped the midfielder from covering Mourinho in praise.
