The 35-year-old England international, who is in Roy Hodgson’s World Cup squad for the World Cup in Brazil this summer, is Chelsea’s all-time leading goal scorer with 211 goals. His contract at Stamford Bridge has just run out.

“The club has become part of my life” said Lampard.

He reportedly has offers from 16 other clubs, and has not yet decided whether he shall retire. He has been heavily linked with New York City, the team David Villa was confirmed signed for earlier today. He has made 649 appearences since joing for ÂŁ11million thirteen years ago. He signed a one year contract extension in May 2013, and made 40 appearences this season under Jose Mourinho.

Lampard first played for England in October 1999, and could retire from international football after the World Cup this year.
