Blues ready to rescue Welshman from his Spanish nightmare
Chelsea are set to go ahead and match Real Madrid’s £75m release clause for Gareth Bale, according to reports.
Bale is rumoured to be unhappy in Spain, following a tough start to the season at Real, with Chelsea keen to bring the Welshman back to the Premier League, following his move from Tottenham Hotspur in summer 2013.
Reports in Spain suggest that Chelsea are willing to pay the £75m asking fee for the 25-year-old.
Bale stated that he remains happy in Madrid, though Jose Mourinho are tipped to offer him around £300,000-a-week.
