Twitter didn’t have much sympathy…
Gary Neville took to Twitter to rant at Virgin Trains yesterday, and it wasn’t long before Twitter worked it’s magic and responded in full force.
Neville expressed his frustration at not being a sold a replacement ticket for his train and missing the departure. He’d lost his receipt for his ticket and asked the train manager if he could buy another- but he was refused and told to go to the main desk to make his purchase.
You are a joke @VirginTrains !!

You've got a train manager called Simon who apparently can't sell tickets at the gate? Now I've missed the train!!

Of course, with 3.6million followers, he was never going to get through this without exposing himself to ridicule.
