Hazard wants to improve his goalscoring record for Chelsea

The Chelsea left midfielder has admitted that his aim for this season is to add more to his goal tally.

The Belgian bagged one during the 3-0 victory over former Premier League Champions, Leicester, and now his hunger for the back of the net has returned.

The 25-year-old was heavily criticised last season due to his failure to consistently perform at a high level. Although he did have a few outstanding performances, an example being his solo goal against Liverpool, he could not remain at this level throughout.

On the contrary, Eden Hazard has already put 3 in for the Blues this term, and is looking like his former brilliant self when he had first started at Stamford Bridge.

In an interview with Chelsea’s website, the Belgian international expressed the thrill when scoring: “It is always good to be on the score-sheet.”

“I am a striker so I try every game to score and my confidence is good.”

“I scored two goals for the national team and one this weekend and I hope to score more in the next game.”

The West London side are now looking ahead to their clash with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, who have their previous manager that finished them in 10th last season.
