With the news of Elliot Bennett’s knee surgery set to force him out of action until next year and with Anthony Pilkington missing most of pre-season due to injury Hughton looks to add some depth.
That depth comes in the shape of James Troisi of Atlanta BC. The 25 year old Australian spent time at Newcastle as a youngster before moving to Genclerbirligi then Kayserispor in Turkey, he moved to Juventus at the end of last year and is part owned by both Juventus and Atlanta.
