Klass-Jan Huntelaar has admitted that he cannot predict what the future will hold for himself after stunning Chelsea in last night’s Champions League clash.
The Dutch hitman was previously been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool during the summer transfer window, with speculation still persisting about Huntelaar’s future.
Talks with current club Schalke has proved to be a waste of time, and it now looks likely that Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham will all be ready to sign the player in January.
Huntelaar said: “I don’t know where the speculation has come from. I was in Schalke and I heard it.
“Regarding the rumours on August 31 [transfer deadline day], somebody used my name and I had no knowledge of what was happening.”
Speaking about a possible move to the Premier League he added: “It’s a nice league and you never know what could happen.
“My mind is now on Schalke. I have a contract until the end of the season, maybe we’re going to talk someday.”
