Juan Cuadrado’s mum was “praying every day” Juventus would swoop in for him
Juan Cuadrado’s mother has revealed how she “prayed” for her son’s Chelsea nightmare to be finally over before his latest loan move over to Juventus last summer.
Marcelo Cuadrado spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Mirror): “He kept smiling at Chelsea but I could see he was not right. It was a difficult period for him, the toughest of his career.
“This summer I was praying every day that he’d go back to Juve.I knew he’d get back to being the same as always in Turin. After the game against Inter, I just hugged him and said: ‘You were great’.”
