James Rodriguez would be willing to make a move to Liverpool or Arsenal over the summer according to the reports from Don Balon.

The Colombian playmaker joined Bayern Munich on a two-year loan from Real Madrid in 2017, but is prepared to cut that agreement short and make his way to the Premier League.

James Rodriguez is determined to force through a move to Liverpool or Arsenal – if Zinedine Zidane remains in charge of Real Madrid.  Colombian World Cup star’s preference is to return to the Bernabeu this summer after spending this season on loan at Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga club arranged a deal to sign the playmaker on a temporary two-year switch last summer but Rodriguez is believed to want to cut the arrangement short.

However, the 26-year-old has fallen badly out of favour with Real’s French coach, whose own future is uncertain.

Despite currently being farmed out to Bavaria, Rodriguez could prove an expensive purchase for Bayern and given the kind of cash now available to top Premier League outfits, could now prefer a move to Anfield or the Emirates instead with the Anfield club currently looking the best bet to offer him Champions League football next season.

A combination of an increased television windfall and the Philippe Coutinho fee to Barcelona will help arm Liverpool with a potential bumper transfer war chest for this summer.
