Redknapp has reveal that he would fear have to face Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and admits he is relieved that he doesn’t have to.
Kante has netted one goal in 26 appearances in the 2016-17 Premier League campaign to help boost the Blues to move 10 points clear of their closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the title race.
Writing in his Daily Mail column about Kante’s performance against the Hammers, Redknapp was clearly relieved that he doesn’t have to face the Chelsea star.
“He is a modern-day phenomenon. Watching him makes me happy to be retired — imagine him closing you down for 90 minutes!” Redknapp said.
