Chelsea boss admits he’d manage another Premier League team

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he would have no issue with managing another Premier League team if he were to lose his job at Stamford Bridge.

The Special One was sacked during his first stint in West London after a nightmare start to the new campaign, but after enjoying spells in Italy and Spain, he then returned to England and returned to Chelsea.

After missing out on silverware during his first season, Mourinho‘s side strolled to the Premier League title this season and will be looking to dominate European football next year.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Football Focus, Mourinho stated that he has no desire on leaving Chelsea anytime soon, but if a day comes where Roman Abramovich wants to replace him, he’ll have no issue with taking over at another Premier League side.

Mourinho Reveals Plans

Mourinho told BBC Football Focus: “Until (Chelsea owner Roman) Abramovich tells me not to stay I don’t see myself going.

“If any club comes to me now and offers me a fantastic project, offers me twice here at Chelsea, I would say no. No chance.

“The day Mr Abramovich thinks I’m not good enough for Chelsea, I want to work and if possible in England too.

“So if one day it’s not Chelsea I see myself coaching another club. But I love Chelsea and I am in Mr Abramovich’s hands.”
