Chelsea boss admits he was scared when striker joined Manchester United
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he was scared when he found out Radamel Falcao had joined Manchester United on a season-long loan last season.
The Colombian left AS Monaco in order to complete a temporary move to Old Trafford for the 2014/2015 season, but things didn’t go as expected.
Falcao Flopped
The usual clinical striker only managed to net four goals during his time with United, which lead to him being sent back to France by Louis Van Gaal at the end of the campaign.
Despite the poor season in the Premier League, Falcao has got himself a second chance after Mourinho decided to loan him for Chelsea for the season.
Mourinho is adamant he can get the best out of the Colombian and is keen to show the Premier League who the real Falcao is.
Mourinho Was Scared
Speaking in a recent interview, The Special One admitted he was scared when he found out Falcao was in the Premier League and playing for one of his main rivals.
“He did that in every club in every league, so I was convinced he was going to do that in our league, in England.”
