The two were spotted arguing before half-time last night

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he has made up with Diego Costa following their half-time spat last night.

The two were spotted having an argument just before half-time, with Mourinho shouting at the striker and the striker giving it back to his manager.

Despite the heated argument, Costa returned to the pitch for the second-half, but immediately stormed off after the game and didn’t shake Mourinho’s hand.

Chelsea ended up winning the game against Maccabi Tel-Aviv 4-0 thanks to goals from Gary Cahill, Willian, Oscar and Kurt Zouma, but after the game, it was the row with Costa that was the main topic for Mourinho.

“Yes we had an argument,” said Mourinho. “I want him to do a certain movement that he didn’t do. I was disappointed that he didn’t and I reacted. He did too.

“But at half-time in the dressing room, a few kisses and a few cuddles. No problem.”
