The struggling to score Spanish International is believed to have agreed a two-year deal with AC Milan.

But Mourinho still remained coy on Torres’ future at Stamford Bridge when questioned in today’s press conference.

‘At the moment Torres is our player and there is nothing wrong with that,’ said the Chelsea boss.

‘We need three strikers to face the season. He is one of them. I like him.

‘If he wants to leave, I believe it’s because he wants to try a new life, possibly a new league.

‘If he wants to leave – and I have not heard that from him – any possibility would be analysed.’

Meanwhile, amid speculation linking the Blues with both Mattia Destro of Roma and QPR forward Loic Remy, Mourinho says he is not planning any more additions to his squad.

‘At the moment, we are doing nothing, because our belief is that the market is closed enough,’ he added.
