Chelsea boss sticks it in after 2-0 win over FC Porto
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho stuck the boot in to FC Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas following last night’s 2-0 victory by telling him to enjoy the Europa League.
The pair didn’t enjoy a good relationship when they were both at Real Madrid, with Mourinho dropping the legendary goalkeeper for Diego Lopez.
Casillas then left the Bernabeu this summer to join Porto, ending his long-term association with the La Liga giants.
Ahead of the game, the goalkeeper was very vocal and opinionated about the match and even admitted that he wants to pile further misery onto Mourinho.
However, an own-goal and a Willian goal gave Chelsea a 2-0 win, which lead to Porto finishing third in the group and dropping to the Europa League.
Mourinho Trolls Casillas
After the game, Mourinho commented on Casillas and told him to go win the Europa League.
“No problem. I’ve done my job and he has done his, and he has done well,” Mourinho told Spanish television station MEGA. “Now Casillas can win the only trophy he hasn’t won – the Europa League.”
