Chelsea boss faces ban after Carneiro row
Jose Mourinho is facing a 5 match touchline ban after the FA launched an investigation in the aftermath of his row with team doctor Eva Carneiro
The saga begun on the very first day of the season, during Chelsea’s 2-2 draw at home to Swansea, when Carneiro ran onto the pitch to treat midfielder Eden Hazard, which caused a row between the two.
It is now thought by the FA that Mourinho could have used sexist language towards the physio, and have launched an official investigation. Video evidence is being reviewed, in which it is thought Mourinho could have used “offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures”.
