Jurgen Klopp wants to leave Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund have been rocked after Jurgen Klopp has told them he wants to leave at the end of the season.
The energetic football manager has been strongly linked with the Premier League in recent years, with Arsenal and Liverpool both interested, but his heart was still with Dortmund and admitted that he wanted to stay in Germany for many years to come.
However, in a sudden change of heart, Klopp has reportedly asked the club to terminate his contract in the Summer, ending his association with the Bundesliga side.
Dortmund’s official Twitter account posted that there will be a formal conference around 2:30 and it’s expected to be about Klopp’s decision to leave the club.
The German outfit have had a torrid season in the league and sit tenth, meaning they won’t be in next year’s Champions League as there aren’t enough points left available.
