No position is safe at Liverpool, claims Ian Rush
Every Liverpool player is playing for their futures, according to club-legend Ian Rush.
Jurgen Klopp is set to endure his first summer transfer window at the end of the season, and he’s expected to make several changes to the Liverpool squad.
Many players are expected to depart Anfield, whilst others are expected to arrive, and Rush believes every single player is fighting for their careers right now.
Speaking about his beloved club, Rush admitted that he believes no-one is safe and no-one’s position is guaranteed.
Changes Likely
“I think he’s done fantastic since he’s been here, but he’ll want to get his own players in. I think he’ll be looking at every position.
“It depends on what he’s got to spend. I think he’ll be looking at every position to try and make the squad stronger.”
When asked on potential sales, Rush added: “Well, he wants his own players in.
“I’m sure there’ll be people coming and people going. He’s looked at them in training and I’m sure Klopp will know what he wants for next season.”
