Juventus are set to rival Arsenal in a race to sign Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez spent 3 years in Italy with Udinese before moving to Barca, and Arsenal seemed to be leading the way for his signature, but now Juventus’ interest has made things more complicated. Liverpool were also in the hunt for the Chilean, but that all depends on whether Barca can strike a deal with the Reds for their striker Luis Suarez. It is also thought that Sanchez is reluctant to move to Merseyside.
Now, however, the Serie A champions have shown their interest, and Sanchez is now torn between a return to Italy or a career in London. However, a problem for Juve could be their financial status, and may not be able to close the deal without selling Arturo Vidal or Paul Pogba first.
