Juventus plot move for Arsenal defender

Italian giants Juventus are keen on signing Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, if reports in Italian news outlet Tuttosport are to be believed. With Stephan Lichtsteiner reportedly on his way out next summer, the Old Lady want to beef up their defence, with the 22-year-old right back being their primary target.

Also on the Juventus radar are PSG’s Thomas Meunier, as well as Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko, although Bellerin seems to be their No.1 target at the moment.

The Bianconeri are looking for a long-term replacement for the 33-year-old Lichtsteiner, who is unlikely to get an extension at the club next year.

Bellerin has, till date, made 105 appearances for Arsenal, netting four goals since making his debut in 2013. He started his career in youth teams of Barcelona and joined Arsenal in 2011, penning a professional deal two years later.

He is currently contracted with Arsenal until 2022, having signed a new deal with the club last year.
