Chelsea are ready to let Nemanja Matic join Juventus if they receive £15million for the defensive midfielder.
The London club have prioritised new £30m signing N’Golo Kante from Leicester City for the holding midfield role this season which means Serbia international Matic would be limited to chances in the starting line-up.
Matic has been a target of Serie A side Juventus for a couple of seasons and they are desperate to sign midfielders this summer. It seems like Chelsea are willing to let the Serbian leave for cheap.
Chelsea will consider all offers they receive for the 27-year-old and would be willing to sell for as little as £15m and take an £8m loss on the player they signed just two-and-a-half years ago.
The former Benfica star impressed at Stamford Bridge in his first season before a poor run of form last campaign, which led new manager Antonio Conte to purchase the in-form Kante.
Matic had also been rumoured with a reunion with old boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, but the Red Devils have listed Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as their top transfer target – a switch that could be finalised in the coming weeks if the Italian giants can bring in Matic first.
