The Old Lady want to cash in on Chilean
Serie A champions Juventus are prepared to sell midfield-star Arturo Vidal in order to raise funds for Chelsea play-maker Oscar.
The Old Lady have been interested in the Brazilian since January, and were strongly linked with launching a player-swap offer involving Paul Pogba.
However, those initial reports were rejected but Juve‘s interest in the Chelsea star remained with a formal £18million bid made.
Chelsea soon declined the offer which lead to the Champions League finalists making a second formal bid, this time worth around £19.8m.
Once again the bid was turned down as The Blues dig their heels in to keep the play-maker unless they get an offer worth around £30m.
Vidal Wanted by Duo
With Jose Mourinho keeping his high price-tag on Oscar, it’s lead to Juve needing to sell before they buy, and Vidal could make way with Arsenal and Real Madrid interested.
According to numerous reports, the Chilean has agreed a deal in principle with Real Madrid after he reportedly gave Rafael Benitez his word that he would sign for the La Liga giants.
It’s stated Vidal will sign a five-year deal at the Bernabeu, snubbing a chance to link up with Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates Stadium.
Midfielder Merry-Go-Round
Reports this morning claim Juve will launch a third and final bid for Oscar once Vidal leaves the club.
If Oscar does eventually leave Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will up their interest in Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan.
