Manchester United have offered Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira a deal to join them in the Summer worth around £200k-a-week.
The German international is out of contract at the end of the season and isn’t expected to extend his stay in Spain, with a trio of English clubs interested in signing him.
As well as United, Arsenal and Chelsea have both been monitoring Khedira’s saga at the Bernabeu, but it’s believed both were put off by the German’s wage-demands.
However, Louis Van Gaal is set for yet another busy transfer period and according to reports, they are prepared to offer the World Cup winner a contract worth £200k-a-week, making him one of the club’s highest earners along with Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie.
Van Gaal is keen to add a strong centre-midfielder to his side and it’s believed he’s a huge admirer of Khedira.
