Klopp targets Aubameyang

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as his main transfer target.

The recently recruited Reds gaffer is set to tell the club’s board to make an initial bid in the region of £35million for the Gabon international.

Aubameyang has set the Bundesliga alight so far this season, scoring 11 goals in ten appearances for the German giants.

However, it will be hard to land the forward because he is ‘enjoying’ life at Dortmund at the moment as he continues this impressive run of form.

The 26-year-old has built up a record in his time at Signal Iduna Park, with the rapid frontman holding a record of scoring a goal for every two starts.

Klopp wants to bring the striker to the Premier League to partner England international Daniel Sturridge up front as he wants to play quick and attacking football, according to The Sun.
