The striker’s agent has insisted his client will be leaving France this summer

The 24-year-old is attracting interest from several clubs, including Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea.

David Venditelli who represents Alexandre Lacazette has been quoted by The Telegraph as saying: “The offers we’ve had from abroad are very significant in terms of finances.

Venditelli continued by stating Lyon are powerless in their efforts to keep hold of Lacazette, despite ultimatums and all the media pressure.

The France international, who scored 27 goals in 19 games in the league last season, is thought to be rated by Lyon at around £21million.

Asking price

The sum was confirmed by Italian newspaper Correire della Sera after the club had given up on trying to forcibly keep him at the club.

Earlier reports had suggested the Ligue 1 side had planned to warn any potential suitors off by placing a £36million price-tag on Lacazette.

However, that figure is now thought to be much closer to £21million to help speed up a sale after talks broke down over Lacazette’s £4.5million wage demands.

Mourinho wants Falcao

Should Jose Mourinho fail in a move for the Lyon forward, he will look to sign Monaco’s Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan.

The Colombian striker failed to make an impact last season, scoring 4 goals in 26 games at Manchester United but Mourinho is confident he can discover the ‘real Falcao’.

United decided against paying the reported £43.2million fee to sign Falcao permanently but the South American attacker could soon be returning to the Premier League.

Falcao has previously been coy on a possible move to the Premier League champions but now Colombia have exited the Copa America he would be free to join the Blues.
