Foxes slap hefty price-tag on striker’s head

Leicester City will only sell Jamie Vardy in January if someone matches their £30million asking-price.

The England international has been in red-hot form so far this season, becoming the Premier League top goalscorer after 14-games and also on the verge of breaking Ruud Van Nistelrooy‘s goal-scoring record.

If Vardy scores today against Manchester United, he will break the Dutchman’s record for most consecutive Premier League games with a goal.

Price-Tag

Due to his incredible form so far this season, Claudio Ranieri has slapped a £30m price-tag on his head in the hope that it will fend off any potential suitors.

Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the striker so far this season, but it’s understood they wouldn’t match that asking price for the 28-year-old.

Vardy has two years left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium and it’s believed he has no desire to leave the club halfway through the season.
