Southampton have announced that they have no intention of selling their centre-back Dejan Lovren this summer.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have all shown interest in the Croatian as he enjoyed a successful season at St. Mary’s, a season that saw Southampton finish 8th. Southampton have already lost 3 players to big clubs this summer, with Luke Shaw going to Manchester United, and both Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana heading to Liverpool.
Spurs were thought to be leading the race for the centre-back, with former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino hoping for a reunion at White Hart Lane, but now it has emerged that new Saints manager Ronald Koeman is keen to keep hold of the player.
Southampton are in no rush to continue selling this summer, as they already have a potential £60million to play around with.
