Liverpool may try to entice Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp to Anfield to pursue a place in the Champions League in the 2016/2017 season.
Brendan Rodgers’ job at Anfield is unsafe after failing to reach the FA Cup final with a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
Klopp, last week, confirmed that he would be leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.
However, it will be hard for the Reds to lure the manager into the club as raining Premier League champions, Manchester City are favourites to sign the charismatic gaffer.
Various bookies have the 43-year-old at 6/1 favourite to be the next Liverpool boss once it was confirmed that the Reds would not be winning any titles this season on Sunday.
