Paris Saint-Germain block Liverpool’s approach

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have denied Lucas Digne the opportunity to talk to Liverpool despite being keen on the move away.

PSG manager Laurent Blanc has recently confirmed that the full-back wants to leave Paris and wants to complete a move to the Premier League side.

However, according to Digne‘s agent, he has been denied the chance to hold formal talks with officials at Anfield.

Liverpool Interested

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is desperate to land the defender, especially after sending Andre Wisdom out on loan and with FC Barcelona interested in Alberto Moreno.

However, Mikkel Beck, Digne’s agent, has revealed that he’s been told not to hold talks with the Premier League outfit.

Beck was talking to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet when he confirmed that he wasn’t allowed to hold talks with Liverpool.

Agent Speaks

“They have not given me permission to talk to Liverpool,” Beck told the Danish daily.

“I can not comment on the clubs’ names, but there is interest from several large outfits.

“We have to see if something will come eventually, but that is what is being worked on.

“Lucas is not 100 percent satisfied with the situation in Paris.”

Digne made just 19 appearances for PSG last season and is desperate to leave the club.
