Reds were close to signing star man
Liverpool held talks with Manchester City on Deadline Day over the possible signing of goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Hart is currently on loan at Torino and seems to have no future at the Etihad under new manager Pep Guardiola.
It’s thought there were negotiations for a deal on the final day of the transfer window on Monday but no deal was done.
Chelsea are also in for his signature but any battles for the player will have to wait until the summer.
Hart’s loan at Torino is not expected to be cut short – but he is unlikely to sign for a second season.
