Liverpool are in talks with Santos about a possible move for Brazilian forward Rodrygo.
The Reds lack depth in attacking options at the minute and could be ready to make an offer to the Santos star in a bid to bolster their attack in the not too distant future.
However, it is believed that Rodrygo himself is not sure if he is keen on a move to Europe just yet, as he has not yet established himself as a proper first-team player at Santos.
Globo Esporte claim that the Brazilian giants will now try to offer Rodrygo his first professional contract after being worried by Liverpool’s approach.
Santos are well-known for producing technically gifted young players through their Academy, with Neymar being the most notable player to make it after signing for Barcelona and becoming a Brazil international.
Rodrygo has been tipped to follow in similar footsteps and made history when he became the youngest player ever to sign a deal with Nike when he was just 11-years-old.
