Liverpool are considering a £29million bid for FC Porto wonderkid, Ruben Neves, after he was dubbed the new Sergio Busquets.
The 17-year-old has already broken into the first-team in Portugal and is being monitored by a few clubs around Europe, including; Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but it’s the Premier League outfit that are considering launching the first formal bid.
Neves, who is a strong centre-midfielder, has been likened to the Barcelona star, Busquets, and a former-Barca player admits that the Porto starlet is very similar to the Spaniard.
Cristian Tello said: “He is fantastic with the ball at his feet, he knows how to position himself and he’s aggressive.
“He’s similar to Sergio Busquets.”
With his rapid development and his reputation growing, Porto have already inserted a £29m release clause into his contract in order to fend off any interest from Europe’s giants.
