Liverpool are preparing to make a shock Summer bid for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie, after he impressed in his debut season in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old was on of The Eagles’ stars this season and helped guide them to a mid-table finish, and his powerful displays down the line have caught the eye of Brendan Rodgers, who is keen to strengthen his squad this Summer ahead of next year and their return to the Champions League.
According to reports, Rodgers was a massive fan of Bolasie when he was at Swansea City and the winger was playing for Plymouth, and he could now be ready to bid around £3million for the Palace-man, who’s entering the final year of his contract this season.
The Reds boss is eager to sign around six players this Summer, and has admitted that he wants at least two world-class signings, but Bolasie’s versatility and relatively cheap price-tag, may tempt Rodgers into bringing him to Anfield.
