Jurgen Klopp wants Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wojciech Szczesny
Liverpool are plotting a sensational double-raid on Arsenal this summer, according to reports.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to have a busy close of season with it being his first summer transfer window as Liverpool boss, and according to reports, he could be set to raid Arsenal.
It’s claimed Klopp has his eyes set of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and also Wojciech Szczesny. The duo face uncertain futures at the Emirates Stadium, with the winger struggling for fitness and also failing to break into the first-team, whilst Szczesny has spent this season out on-loan with AS Roma.
Arsenal Duo Wanted
The ‘keeper fell down the pecking order after Petr Cech arrived in the summer, and Arsene Wenger decided to keep David Ospina over the Pole, eventually seeing him move to Italy for the season.
As for Chamberlain, he’s failed to develop as quickly as Arsenal wanted, and he’s now behind the likes of Joel Campbell and Alex Iwobi in the pecking order.
It’s believed Liverpool will offer around £40million for the duo, with the winger taking up £30m of that.
It’s not yet understood whether Arsenal will want to sell the duo, especially to a Premier League rival.
