Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring the German to Anfield
Liverpool are hoping to try and lure Thomas Muller to the club, according to reports in Germany.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the forward and according to reports from the player’s home country today, they could decide to launch a move to try and sign him.
Bayern Munich don’t want to lose the attacker and believe he remains an important player for them but the player himself could decide he wants to move on to become a more important player at another team.
Munich have signed James Rodriguez on loan this summer and his arrival could mean less playing time for the 27-year old and if that is the case, then he could decide to move on while he can.
Interest from around Europe
There’s no doubt that Muller is too good of a player to sit on the bench and Liverpool are willing to make him the focal point in a new look Reds attack.
However, if Bayern did decide to let him go, it would likely spark interest from several other top teams from around Europe, so Liverpool would have a battle on their hands to secure his signature.
In addition, the player won’t be cheap, especially in today’s market, so his cost could put Jurgen Klopp off signing him.
But, as previously mentioned, Klopp is a huge admirer of Muller and if possible, he would like to bring him to the club.
