Reds interested in Franck Kessie
Liverpool have sent a scout party out to Africa to scout Chelsea target Franck Kessie.
Chelsea have been repeatedly linked with the Atalanta midfielder, who is dubbed as one of the hottest properties in Europe.
It was being suggested that the Blues were hoping to sign him this January, but are now willing to wait until the summer after seeing a £22million bid rejected.
However, Chelsea may be forced to move quicker, as it appears Liverpool are now also interested in the player.
Kessie is representing the Ivory Coast in Gabon and is tipped to be a key player for the tournament favourites.
The tournament has a wide array of talent on display, with Liverpool’s own Sadio Mane playing for Senegal.
Atalanta don’t want to sell him in January, but are prepared to let him go in the summer.
