Reds send men to keep an eye on PSG midfielder

It’s emerged this morning that Liverpool recently sent a scout to watch PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.

It’s thought that Liverpool have been interested in the midfielder for a while, and now France Football are reporting that the Reds send chief scout Kevin Hunt to watch the Argentine in action this weekend.

The 27-year-old wouldn’t come cheap, however, after PSG paid Palermo ÂŁ33m for him back in 2011.

Pastore has scored 34 goals in 175 games for the French club. He has 22 caps for Argentina, scoring twice.

Liverpool have recently been hit with a few injury problems in midfield, with Jordan Henderson and Emre Can out for the season, Klopp will be looking to reinforce that particular area. It’s also been rumoured that Henderson could be on his way out of Anfield this summer, meaning Pastore could be a possible replacement.
