Sakho was stretchered off vs Spurs
Liverpool loanee Mamadou Sakho has potentially done his Anterior Cruciate Ligaments after being stretchered off for Crystal Palace against Tottenham last night.
Sakho is currently playing his football at Selhurst Park after being loaned out in January. He has been performing really well, but despite this, there was no talk of a way back into the Liverpool team for him after falling out with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
However, Klopp might have a tough time selling him now, as he appears to be out for 9 months after damaging his Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his knee last night vs Tottenham.
He will stay in London with Liverpool happy for Palace’s staff to conduct the scan later on Thursday. All the information will then be shared before a decision is taken on the best way forward.
However, it’s looking likely that he will be facing an extended period of time sidelined, and this does real damage to Liverpool’s attempts to get £30-£40million for him this summer.
