Reds want to sign Galatasaray star in January
Liverpool will find out whether they can sign Galatasaray star Kevin Grosskreutz later this week, according to reports.
The versatile star hasn’t enjoyed his brief time in Turkey due to errors in paperwork meaning he can’t officially play for the club, and according to reports, he is desperate to leave the club.
Some have already claimed he’s agreed to a three-year deal at Anfield after showing interest in having a reunion with Jurgen Klopp.
Reunion at Anfield?
The two worked together at Borussia Dortmund before Grosskreutz left in order to join the Super Lig outfit.
According to reports in Turkey, the German’s representatives will meet with Galatasaray officials this week to discuss his future, and it looks certain that he won’t be a Gala player come next season.
Due to the paperwork error, Grosskreutz has had to train with a sixth division team in order to retain his fitness and he’s failed to register a single appearance for the Turkish outfit.
