Jurgen Klopp running out of patience with Belgian

Liverpool are ready to sell striker Christian Benteke, according to reports.

The Belgian has struggled to settle in at Anfield since arriving from Aston Villa over the summer in a deal worth ÂŁ32.5million.

Benteke was brought into the club by former-boss Brendan Rodgers, but after he was sacked earlier this season, the striker has fallen down the pecking-order in Merseyside under Jurgen Klopp.

Out of Favour

Klopp has often preferred to use Roberto Firmino as a false number-nine, which has left Benteke on the substitute bench for the majority of his career at Liverpool.

With Klopp expected to be busy over the summer in the transfer window, it’s looking likely that Benteke’s importance within the club could diminish even further.

According to reports, Liverpool are already willing to sell the 25-year-old and could look to sell him on at the end of the season.
