Burnley striker set for Anfield move
Liverpool have won the race to sign Burnley striker, Danny Ings, after the striker told the Clarets that he wanted to leave the relegated club.
The 22-year-old will become a free agent this Monday and has been wanted by many top European clubs including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and David Moyes’ Real Sociedad.
Liverpool Favourites
However, Liverpool have beaten their rivals for the England U21 international’s signature and are favourites to sign the goal-machine when his contract expires at Turf Moor in June.
Burnley are entitled to compensation when the former Bournemouth star leaves the club because he is under the age of 24 due to Premier League rules.
Spurs Lining up Formal Bid
Spurs are lining up a ÂŁ12million bid for the forward, but the Reds are able to get the youngster signed for less than the money offered by the White Hart Lane club.
