Frenchman doesn’t want to be third choice

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is said to be considering his future at the club, with Radamel Falcao set to arrive on loan from Monaco.

The arrival of Falcao would push Frenchman Remy down the line to third choice up front, behind Diego Costa.

The former QPR and Newcastle United forward is seeking more first-team action.

Remy has scored seven goals in six starts for the Premier League champions, but the arrival on Colombian Falcao could mean Remy sees his future away from Stamford Bridge.

He could be set to stay in London, with new West Ham manager Slaven Bilic reportedly keen.

Crystal Palace and his former club Newcastle are also keen.

Falcao is set to arrive in a deal worth ÂŁ7m next season, with an option to buy for ÂŁ35m next summer, similar to the deal Manchester United had last term with him.

He will hope, however, not to bring his Old Trafford form with him to London, as he endured a miserable season last time out.
