Striker tells all about his move to Atletico Madrid
Luciano Vietto has revealed it was Diego Simeone that convinced him to join Atletico Madrid from Villarreal, rather than join Arsenal or Liverpool.
The Argentine striker was being scouted by the Premier League duo, with both set to launch formals bids over the summer.
However, they have now missed the opportunity to sign the striker as he has finalised his move to Atletico.
The deal is worth £14million, and the 21-year-old admitted that Simeone was enough to persuade him to snub a move to England and the Premier League.

Vietto spent just one season at Villarreal, making 32 La Liga appearances, scoring 12 goals.
