Luis Suarez scored a spectacular four goals creating history as Liverpool demolished Norwich 5-1 at Anfield

The Liverpool front man netted in the 15th, 29th and 34 min to become the first Premier League player to score three hat-tricks against the same team.

An amazing 45 yard shot by Suarez saw the Reds take the lead in the 15th min, stunning the Norwich goalkeeper.

The home side then won a corner which saw Gerrard cross the ball in perfectly for Suarez to score in the 29th min, his second for the game.

But the Liverpool sensation stepped it up a notch in the 34th min, when he ran the ball past the Norwich defence to nab another, leaving the defence frustrated.

An outstanding performance saw the No.7 Liverpool striker score a hat-trick before half-time.

But it didn`t stop there after Gerrard was brought down by Howson 25 yards out in the 74th minute, Suarez thumped in a free kick making the score line 4-0.

Norwich showed a little determination from a Bradley Johnson goal, heading the ball past Minolet to give the away side a consolation goal making the score 4-1 with seven minutes remaining.

However, The Reds weren`t finished there, Suarez ran the ball to six yards out on the left before crossing to Sterling in the centre who netted one home to complete the win in the 88th min.

Former Liverpool front man Ian Rush was the club’s all-time top scorer against Norwich with nine goals in 21 matches. Suarez effortlessly breezed past him, having begun the day level with David Fairclough and Kenny Dalglish.

This was the sort of performance Liverpool needed to put on after a poor performance on the weekend at Hull and the Reds certainly showed that they are a force to be reckoned with.
