The France international will stay until next year with the Ligue 1 runners-up

Nabil Fekir’s agent and father Mohamed recently stated the Gunners would be the only club his son would leave for.

The 21-year-old has stated his desire to remain with Lyon for another year after helping them secure Champions League football, before looking for a new team in 2016.

Fekir scooped the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year this month to top off a campaign that saw him break into the national side back in March.

Boyhood dream

Despite being touted to sign for Arsenal, the Lyon forward recently spoke of his admiration for the recently-crowned La Liga champions Barcelona.

Inter Milan had emerged as possible contenders for his signatures after performances this campaign, but a move to the Catalans would be his preferred choice.

“Ever since I was young, the club of my dreams has been Barcelona. If I have the chance to go there one day, it would be magnificent” said Fekir.

Arsene Wenger’s side host West Bromwich Albion in the final round of games with the Gunners almost certain to keep hold of third place, regardless of the result.
