Mourinho set to sign Monaco right-back
Monaco right-back Fabinho is close to joining Manchester United, according to Brazilian sources.
The 22-year-old right-back scored eight goals in 47 appearances for Monaco last season but is being heavily linked with a move to United ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
Globoesporte suggest the Red Devils are in the final stages of negotiations to sign Fabinho after Jose Mourinho endorsed his move to Old Trafford.
It’s understood Monaco would not block Fabinho’s impending transfer to United – with a fee of around £25million expected for the Brazil international.
Napoli and Manchester City are also interested in signing the defender who made one appearance on loan at Real Madrid back in 2013.
