Officials from Old Trafford didn’t meet with Bayern Munich boss

Manchester United have moved quickly to deny meeting up with Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola.

Reports from France emerged late last night suggesting that officials from Old Trafford had met up with the Spaniard in order to discuss the managerial position.

However, United have moved quickly to deny the claims and have stated that no-one from the club was in France and no-one has spoken to Guardiola.

Guardiola On the Move

The speculation comes after the Bayern boss admitted he was leaving the Allianz Arena at the end of the season and wants to manage in the Premier League.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and United have all been linked with appointing the Spaniard, but after denying the latest speculation, it seems City are still in pole position.
