Man United midfielder heading for Old Trafford exit after selling Manchester home?

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini lost his head on Thursday night, being shown a red card in the Manchester derby for his trouble.

The Belgian was shown a straight red card for a headbutt on Sergio Aguero, less than 15 SECONDS after being shown a yellow card for a nasty challenge on the Argentine.

Although United did manage to hold on for a draw, the red card gives Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho some thinking to do, with Fellaini’s suspension leaving him short in numbers for midfield.

Rumours of an Old Trafford exit have been strengthened by the Mirror’s report that the 29-year-old has sold his £2.3million mansion.

Depending on the length of his ban, that could be Fellaini’s last Premier League appearance for the club.

Fellaini will still be available for their upcoming Europa League semi-final tie against Celta Vigo, although Mourinho may think twice before choosing to field the Belgian, especially after such a costly reaction.

Although it is possible that Mourinho sympathizes with Fellaini, after he claimed during his post match interview that Sergio Aguero was “clever” regarding the sending off, and appeared to be hinting that Aguero was trying to have Fellaini sent off, rather than Fellaini being particularly malicious.
